My journey began over 20 years ago when I started working in the corporate world. It was tremendously rewarding to have the opportunity to be employed by large organisations such as Westpac Banking Corporation, Deloitte Consulting, Transport for NSW, Woolworths, Leighton Contractors now known as CPB, John Holland and Synchrony global and as a result, I’ve learnt a lot from these organisations through holding roles from Business Coach to Senior Manager.
My roles were various and I had the privilege of learning all aspects of the business units such as Finance, Human Resources, IT and Operations. I managed large teams based both onshore and offshore, learnt to overcome challenging stakeholders and worked with multiple vendors in dealing with many complex issues. I have managed a number of IT applications and implemented multiple HR/Payroll and Finance systems which gave me great satisfaction as we were either resolving the organisation’s long standing problems or improving our outdated processes to create efficiencies.
After a considerable amount of time in the corporate world, I decided to venture out on my own and establish a business & information technology consulting company, SS Business & IT Consulting Pty Ltd. I thoroughly enjoy working on problem solving and systems management and sincerely believe that this journey will lead me to greater heights and personal satisfaction in my career. At the same time, I bring my expertise to benefit companies who seek to engage in my services.
My passion lies in problem solving, delivering successful projects, implementing systems and processes that create efficiency in the workplace. I’ve successfully set up several Project Management Offices and offer a systematic guide throughout the process.
